Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Industrial Relations Act 2010 (KP IRA 2010) and the Rules applicable thereunder

Registration of Factory

Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Factories Act, 2013. Factory once established must be registered with Directorate of Labour

To register a factory, the establishment must provide the necessary documents to the area Inspector who, after verification, will forward the same to the Chief Inspector of Factories for registration.

➤List of Workers on the following format [On letterhead pad of factory to be signed by the Manager / Owner of the factory]
➤List of machinery used in the factory [On letterhead pad of factory to be signed by the Manager / Owner of the factory]
➤Site plan of the factory (Blueprint)
➤Request letter to the Chief Inspector of Factories for registration of factory under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Factories Act, 2013

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

➤The Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) project deals deals with inspection of industries as per chapter-03 of Factories Act-2013.
➤The main objective is to identify the workplace occupational health and safety hazards and suggest/advise control measure to control these hazards.
➤Additionally to deliver OSH trainings to industry owners/management staff and workers in order to spread awareness and trained the KP workforce about health and safety hazards at their workplace and to know their rights in the corresponding ACTs

Registration of Shops & Establishments

In pursuance of the provision under section 25 of the Shops and Establishments Act 2015, every establishment, other than a one-man shop, is required to be registered on payment of such fee upon making an application on form-A .
Registration Certificates are issued on form-C also given in the schedule.
